Not real far from me, I know plenty of people that have dual's on combines around here, many others that wouldn't drive with them on no matter what. This one didn't and still look what happened. Most of our roads around here are just way too narrow period. I have a 2188 and 1680 that you are over that center line all the time, that's bad enough. I don't like moving at night either, late night lot less traffic but that's past my bed time. Not sure we will hear just what happened, just always a worry when I go out, I try to say a prayer every time when I do.


In my area, lot of guys still move with headers on. That being said, if they're moving at night, they get over so everything is in their lane.

Not wanting to point fingers here, but IMO this wreck is way more on the combine driver than the car. If he wants to move at night, he better be able to get out of that oncoming lane, or have a pilot car to stop/slow down traffic. The car driver OBVIOUSLY should have taken more care, but now the combine driver will be left with all the fallout.
