Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | My first thought was, couldn’t the driver of the car SEE the combine? It’s all the driver of the cars fault.
Then, if it was at night and the combine has lights on that would make it very difficult to see ahead in the car. Actually getting blinded by the lights.
So, my conclusion both are at fault. Combine may have been over the center line. Car didn’t slow down near enough for the visibility. Car driver could have avoided collision if slowed down for caution. Combine probably shouldn’t have been on the road after dark. |
