| Powell has been instructed not to work with Trump?
I’m not saying you’re wrong and I am no expert. But isn’t Trump trying to pressure the Fed to reduce interest rates (even though a perceived independent Fed is vitally important)? So if Powell ‘worked’ with Trump and lowered interest rates against his better judgment. Would lower rates not be inflationary and help lead to higher commodity and hard asset values?? Or am I missing something. | |
