California | We're working to understand the real feed cost challenges farmers are facing. We're talking with farmers and researchers to identify where the biggest opportunities are, whether that's finding more cost-effective feed options, improving how feed is managed, or something else entirely. The goal is to make sure any solutions that come out of this research are practical and address what matters most to you, rather than something that sounds good in theory but doesn't fit how you actually farm. Largest area of importance at the moment is protein, since many of the farmers we've talked to, spend the most on that, aside from operational costs like labor. | |
