Home computer,  a 'Nuk' running Win 11
For some reason McAfee keeps popping onto the lower right of my screen, imploring me to update McAfee anti virus, as it has "expired"!
I have NEVER had McAfee.
I look at programs installed, and it is not listed.
How do I stop the unwanted intrusion?  It is downright annoying as it covers bout 20% of the lower right of what ever else is on the screen. If I click on the 'X' [top right hand corner] it wants to download McAfee.  I stop that , get rid of that, but very quickly the annoying "McAfee has expired ,,,,, is back.

I also have a Win 11 laptop, using the same supplyer, accesses the same email etc., and McAfee does not come near it !

Frustrated !
