| I wouldn’t call it disdain. I think they came up with extraordinary form of government. Their greatest attribute was the self realization that they would be wrong on many aspects of the constitution. They wanted and hoped things would be reviewed and changed throughout time.
They should be celebrated for that foresight and at the same time be scrutinized over their decisions
I believe they were humble enough to welcome criticism and would have abhorred the thought that everything they did would be the gospel for infinity
To point out their imperfections, I believe, would be celebrated by the founding fathers
