Ne Colorado | Iv got a 2620 Haybuster that we use often for bedding or running hay out to supplement pasture on dry years. Iv got a guy that grinds our hay for our tmr but he’s getting harder and harder to get on his schedule. My 2620 really doesn’t grind, it really just pulls the bale apart. I run it with the floor chains moving fast but the slug bars set high so it takes small bites but still doesn’t chop it up much. Do they make a kit or something after market to be able to get more chopped or ground results? This pulled apart hay plugs the hell out of our feed wagon. It’s worse in the auger wagon. I may look at a grinder but curious on making my 2620 more multi purpose. | |
