Morgan Co. Illinois | One of our favorites. Italian sausage soup. We just call it slaw soup. Pound of Italian sausage, hot is better. browned up, a package of shredded cabbage, 24 ounce can of pasta sauce, Hunts or any brand the cheaper the better, three cans of Northern beans undrained. Maybe some water I can't remember. That's it. Another favorite but it makes a big batch is Creamy Vegetable Cheese Soup. Package of mixed vegetables. package of chopped broccoli,2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns, cup of chopped onion, 6 chicken bullion cubes,6 cups of water,2 cups of milk,2cans cream of chicken soup,1 lb Velveeta. Simmer the veggies, onion broccoli, bullion, and water. In a separate pan over medium heat, the milk, chicken soup, and cheese until melted then combine everything. | |
