 Pittsburg, Kansas | My wife takes any leftover meats, puts them together, adds good broth (often chicken), occasionally heavy cream. Adds onions and mushrooms (for her, I can take or leave mushrooms. I don't mind them but do nothing for me).
Delicious. Meat soup. It is what most of our leftover meats become. Hamburger, pork, steak, chicken. It all goes in there, whatever we have. Good broth added is the secret. She makes her own from old bone carcases. Freezes it for later use. Thaws out for making soup. Rarely uses canned store bought, but will if she has to.
