| The concerning thing about what has happened to the cattle markets isn't that they have fallen, we all knew they would at some point. Or even the amount they have fallen. But the circumstances behind the drop, which happened without any expansion in the US herd. So You think you can make money at $1500 to $1800 calves. What's to keep them from dropping another $500 plus? Fundamentals mean absolutely nothing in a market where virtually every aspect can be and is manipulated. | |
