Of these short lived tariffs on Brazil beef?
If tariffs are useful to stimulate domestic production by making imports more expensive....that didn't happen. To short of time frame.
If these Brazil tariffs were a warning shot to Brazil about their BRICS participation....jury maybe out on that. But you run the risk of being more dependant on entrusting a portion of our food supply with someone who aligns themselves with China.

What am I missing?
BRICS is becoming the elephant in the room that most in the west don’t want to acknowledge. Most had never even heard of it up until a few years ago, because the only financial news they watch is the bobbleheads on CNBC and Fox business news.
