If tariffs are useful to stimulate domestic production by making imports more expensive....that didn't happen. To short of time frame.
If these Brazil tariffs were a warning shot to Brazil about their BRICS participation....jury maybe out on that. But you run the risk of being more dependant on entrusting a portion of our food supply with someone who aligns themselves with China.
