Buy a mixer than fits the size of your feedstuffs. Using 5'x6' or 5'x 5.5' bales will make a mess on the ground with a single screw. There is not enough room between the screw and the sidewall of the mixer for the bale to fall down into. Hence, the bale spends lot more time on top of the screw and increases spillage onto the ground.
Educate me on single screw tub mixers
