Western Oregon | We grind any meat to make jerky because of my upper plate and everyone seems to like it better too. Son always makes a big batch for Christmas. He starts with a jerky mix from Bi-Mart called Hi Country hunters mix, at 1/2 rate and adds a little brown sugar and red pepper flakes. Beef, pork and elk. One all mixed together with some venison too. Just uses a dehydrator and a jerky gun....James
