I did a couple yards using 3/4 road stone as an experiment. I've got a skid loader mixer and would scoop up about 1/4 of a yard and then add a 100lb bag of Portland cement. It worked but it's kinda soft concrete. Where I used limestone chips and clean sand it's as good as any concrete. I wouldn't use road stone on anything very important.
