Posted 11/23/2025 12:56 (#11444567) Subject: 3/4'' crushed limestone to make a concrete slab?
We got a used 11-ton grain bin last week and I want to pour a 12x12', 5.5'' thick concrete slab to set it on.
Do you guys think I can use 3/4'' crushed limestone (aka road gravel) to make a concrete mix, or do I really need to go buy graded sand and gravel instead? How much cement do you recommend using with the crushed aggregate?
