I have corned my own beef in the past back when we raised dairy steers. I was very pleased how they turned out. Buying those from Aldi's for around $3/lb. was hard to pass up and like I mentioned they were very good quality. I think we only had two that were a bit fatty. I shot this guy on last evening's stand and will be canning most of him. Probably the smelliest, rutted buck I've ever smelled!
