I've had them bloat from a little rain on rolled out alfalfa hay, so yes anything that can happen will eventually happen. Load them up with non alfalfa hay, don't turn them out in the morning. Bloat blocks , or something in water tanks if possible. Really depends on how much green regrowth is still present even if the tops are frozen hard.
