N FLA | We ran the Ford 5000 out of fuel this week. We even had the fuel, we were just going to fill it at the end of the night. Spent an hour or more trying to get it bled. Yourltube videos show more and more places to bleed it off. We pulled it out of the way and will try again. I have a fuel filter to replace as it needed that anyway. An old man today said he always had better luck pull starting them. My main problem with that is the starter doesn't always hit when I turn the key, that switch needs replaced. So I don't know if the ignition will be on or not.
I went for a back up tractor. I've got the Massey as collateral on a loan I made someone. It really runs good and is getting the job done
I really need a backup grinder to take this one offline and redo all the bearings on the front side.
