Sign up at least some of your land for renewables to spread ur risk
It might add some stability and longevity to ur farm, especially if u dont have a heir to take it over.
We signed up 14% of our acres and it’s generating 65% of our farm income.
Yes renewables receive a tax subsidy to build them but so does fossil fuels and ethanol and I dont need a bailout for soybeans.
I’m not as subject to fluctuations in grain prices because of what one person or country says or does.
This is a tone deaf response. Probably not quite to the level of “let them eat cake”, but close.
