West Central IA | Why are you surprised by this action? Historically when the packers need the purchase price of beef to fall they always resort to closing a plant. I don't know how many guys were telling me the packers are losing money and I responded with if they are truely losing money, they will close a plant. It is such a simple move for them and honestly I believe they get together and decide who will close this time. Turns out it was Tyson. | |
