Croswell, Michigan | I don’t know about rice but here the rule is you can’t claim more acres than the highest amount of acres you have had for that crop in the last five years.
I did try to claim some pp acres on a farm I had just purchased a few years ago that would have put me over my max. I was told had the previous operator carried crop insurance on that farm(they did not) that I could have added a few more pp acres.
I would ask a few more questions. | |
