How long of run does cattle need for you to be happy. No market has a good time forever. You and me feeding cattle we are 1-2% the other 98% is not happy. It was to secure enough beef from here on. Some packers buying bred cows to kill. That’s not a path forward to raise cow numbers. If gas and diesel was short would you be the first one saying why isn’t he doing something about it.

From what I recall, you still haven't justified the 1978 embargo.

The same can be said about corn and beans. Bring them down to $2 and $5.

No one wants to raise cheap cattle, just like how grain farmers aren't breaking ground on $2 corn.

Cheap cattle, there is 0 incentive to have more. The only incentive is to get rid of them and break the pasture for fields.

Surely you aren't of the delusion that cattle have been high since the 1970s and that is why we are where we are with the herd size?
