N.E. MO | I am so sorry. Coming from someone that lost his 50 year old wife two years ago this past 10/15, I have a general understanding of what you are going through. Please feel free to reach out to me. I promise that there is not one thing I can say to make things any better. But sometimes it helps to visit with those that have been and are going through it.
At first I thought I wish it had been me, as you stated. Soon I realized (knowing she was saved) that she is rejoicing with the Lord. I would never want her to have gone through the hell I am living without her. So as selfish as it may sound, I am glad she went first. I just wish it had been many years before either of us went. | |
