I would suggest first going to an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat Dr) and get a hearing test. Your hearing aid salesman will give one but an ENT might give a better one. Mine did not just a hearing test but a comprehension test. It was surprising what I was missing. It also gives a better idea of what you need the aids to do. My wie went with me. The Dr walked out and told her "It's not that he's ignoring you. He does not hear you."
I have a loss at certain frfquencies. Your needs might allow a less costly model.
I prefer a behind the ear model. I'm told they are barely visible. Mine allow streaming audio from my phone, phone calls, audio, etc. |
