| Go for it! Obviously things others have said here are good pointers. I think to start with you should try to structure the commission/seller fee in a way that incentivizes selling more big iron/newer nicer equipment because that’s what’s going to get you more eyeballs. Just a thought. I see a lot of farms where they have a really large weedrow with a ton of equipment that’s no longer used. You could try going around and stopping at places like that and saying “hey here’s my card if you ever want to sell some things let me know.” That being said I don’t think it’s going to be easy money at first and you’ll have to work for every bit of business you get but once you get it rolling it should snowball somewhat. | |
