central kansas reno county | Yes these bad years really get to people. In my area we have had 3 full years of insurance checks thank God for that. Those just keep the bank somewhat happy those checks don't make land payments though.
This year we finally got some good rains amd raised some good crops. Wheat was better or average and beans was very very good. Best we've ever had around here. Milo was good in spots. Some really good some break even. Our biggest issue is nitrogen prices gotta come down. Everyone talks about the packers making all kinds of money but no one talks about the fertilizer industry and how crooked they are.
