Pretty smart talk IMO. Just because you're not hurting doesn't mean some aren't through no fault of their own.
I'm guessing the vast majority of farmers wdnt be where they are today without years of farm programs, disaster payments, crop insurance.
The govt money was good/welcomed then and helped everyone cash flow and keep farming.
Maybe, just maybe, there's still some like that actually have a legitimate need.
