Western Oregon | Daughter has a step daughter that is 20 and had a daughter Jan 1st. The mother lived with her mother in a different state so even our daughter only saw her about 20 times. Usually during summer break, for 1/2 a day when her Mom was in-state to see her Mother and Step Dad. She has moved back to be closer to her father, our daughters husband. We may have seen her 10 times. Since the birth, our daughter started a Sunday family time. Her husband grills, smokes something or makes pizza, and we are invited, so we try to go every Sunday. So basically for us, it went from our kids to great granddaughter. I remember our daughters first Christmas so vividly, this Christmas is going to be so magical....James | |
