I guess the corned venison is on the dry side but was tender. The only one we have cooked so far was done in the clock pot. We eat so much venison we really don't notice. With the beef have you actually corned your on cuts of meat or those already prepared from the store. It takes 5 days soaking but what we have done so far has been good.
