Yup. Close friends and family. Doesn’t take long for word to get around if you will tolerate trespassing and monkey business or are an a%% in the hunting world eyes. Someone wounds a deer and it comes on my property I tell them I’ll go with you. Been quite a while since a wounded deer ended up on my property. My biggest concern is neighbors sitting on the property line waiting for deer to leave my land.
Im mostly, but not completely isolated from the neighbors fence sitting issue. Hard to be completely free from it. The very worst property to own is U shaped, with access from one side only, and neighbors on 3 sides. I have 2 properties in southern Iowa like this. Owned for 2 years now. Those 2 pieces create 90% of the problems, and are less than 10% of the acres I hunt. There will not be a third season. Getting listed last day of hunting season. Time to move on.
