Its not a great idea to oversize. It will want to short cycle as it will put out lots of heat in a short time satisfying the thermostat early before the heat has a chance to disperse and warm the room properly. Its an issue with heat but more of an issue with AC as it does not run long enough to dehumidify properly.

Unrelated, but if you are gutted have you considered radiant tube 1/2” pex stapled with aluminum plates under the floor from a boiler source? Yes this is a lot of work but my opinion such nice steady heat and will run at lower water temps vs an air coil.
