Wife’s truck needed tires before winter, well it started running rough during harvest. She called local garage 3 weeks out who has done us great in the past long story short tires timing chains sensors fuel regulator gaskets anything they recommend we said yes didn’t question it’s going to my 15 year old next year. 5300 dollars later it’s home less than one month and 600 miles runs great till it hammers and spits and sputters shut it off restart runs fine till it randomly happens again There’s a timing issue I think. She called get u in dec 17 I’m like what so I called this morning yes booked till 17 then I ask about getting it there we don’t pay for towing and I definitely recommend not driving it anymore. During work tech stayed in great contact with wife on everything now lady at desk won’t even let us talk to him at all. Am I expecting too much or is this the new normal?
