STOMN - 11/21/2025 06:48 We planted 6 million less acres of beans. Last time we were under 87 million acres beans were in the teens.
How many more acres of beans did SA plant vs the last time we planted under 87 million?
In an export market, its not just about how many acres the US plants, its about worldwide production. Worldwide production has been growing faster than demand.
BTW, last time beans were in the teens is what prompted SA to shift expansion into over drive. High prices cure high prices, low prices cure low prices and I'm not of the belief that $11 beans is "low prices".
