| Long term or short term ? No easy answers. Lowest on the pole will be the ones taking the brunt that is one certainty.
Short term we do as before, endure the boom and bust, only profit when another area of the world suffers.
Long term if this AI thing does what is hyped, which I’m not sure it will, the largest corps are going to reap the benefit, the worker certainly won’t. Long term I think we will see some sort of guaranteed income for lots of folks with not much to do and that will creep into society writ large, farming included.

Possibly agriculture as a whole will go the way of the hog industry, contract farming for the corps. They will be able to adjust to the supply and demand. As in “Here are your inputs, give us 100,000 bushels in the fall.” You have to met that production or be penalized.
Long term is rushing at us fast.
