How long of run does cattle need for you to be happy. No market has a good time forever. You and me feeding cattle we are 1-2% the other 98% is not happy. It was to secure enough beef from here on. Some packers buying bred cows to kill. That’s not a path forward to raise cow numbers. If gas and diesel was short would you be the first one saying why isn’t he doing something about it.


I agree in principle. But make your changes over a larger amount of time. Don’t blow up a very large and very complicated market over the span of a month. This is nothing but political posturing. Want to help the 98% start with bringing down necessity items. What would help the average family more. Ribeyes going from 14 to 13 at the store or 25% decline in insurance premiums.
