Nebraska aka the boondocks | On thing you missed and I think is actually a very big point, the govt relies heavily on land prices for levies. Especially in states like Nebraska and others to fund schools and 16 other agencies. In that regard, land can’t drop. Just another reason things will continue to stay as they are. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the law changed to make it even easier to do a 1031, something else that plays into the mix. |
