Illinois | It always depends on if you will be living in close proximity to the easement . Home values I believe can be devastating. I can easily go farm somewhere where the easement is ,but if it is 300 ft from your front door that is another matter. Value is perception . Loss of value of property should be an equation and a conversation.
I also consider a devaluation if solar or wind is close proximity to a home of a non participant. There are companies that argue these facts .
