Any company that sells a product suggesting it can solve every problem except world peace should be approached skeptically. I did a Grower's in furrow trial 5 years ago, it was fine as a starter. Worthless as a foliar product. And it is absurdly expensive! The liquid fertility product I use now is less than half the price and I have BETTER results. Not to mention the label is totally vague on ingredient sourcing. I see Easy commented saying it was a "high quality product" not sure how anyone can really verify that when the nutrient sources aren't even shared.
Many things that their agronomy manager says makes me seriously question the company.
Conklin went through the bad sales people making a good product look bad, you would think other companies would have learned to keep the sales pitch more grounded.
The GMS folks that came out to me after a comment online were pretty level headed.
You are correct. If GMS wants to put themselves as a top shelf product then they should have a top shelf product label.
And just because you're using a higher quality product like an Alpine 6-24-6 versus a 10-34-0 doesn't automatically mean you're going to get a better crop response.
You could put them both in the seed trench and probably see no difference in a test plot. But the Alpine is going to be more safe, potentially more consistent, possibly use a lower rate to meet the demand.
