The adhesive for that Owens Corning is Loctite pl300. Just finished putting it on a shop wall. Really need to screw it on till the adhesive sets. We used a large poly washer and screw to attach it. You could make something work for a small area. Not sure, but seems like the wrong adhesive may not last. Any way you could clamp it on, one piece at a time ?
