| MY understanding of leasing the hunting rights is they cut me a check and deal with protecting their rights.
Someone calls me to hunt and I can give them the leasee's number.
My understanding is the leasee furnishes insurance.
The downside is I cannot grant folks I like permission to hunt.
I also understand that hunting with out permission on leased property is easier to prosecute. Probably due to a value placed on that activity.
I am not positive about that, but I heard it some where. | |
