NW Indiana
So we rallied $1.50 in 3 weeks based on China and you are saying prices weren't held down all year? You don't think prices would have even been higher on such a small acreage number if thoughts were china was going to be buying their normal amount? $1.50 on 12mmt imagine if the market was trading them buying the same yoy. To say we weren't screwed out of higher prices all year is stupidity.
Why do you need grain in the bins to pick up futures gains? You could play the board so storage is only basis and spreads. Spreads say to forward sell even further out typically so why do you need a bin to sell well in advance to capture spreads? Bins aren't near as profitable as most think.
