King City, Mo | The trouble is you cannot fix the soil cost effectively.
problem 1 - owner of the land is not the guy farming it. Cash rent doesn't flow when you fix a soil cations for life.
problem 2 - no premium for higher protein grain or higher quality grain. usda #2 grain is poor quality
problem 3 - the university/Coop/big Ag system needs the farmer to have problems they are needed for insight and to sell band aide fixes too every year for their cash flow.
