The thing is, most consumers do not see the price of insurance.
Health insurance iis paid by their employer. House insurance is paid by the mortgage company or bank. Yes the consumer pays it in the end but do not write the check.
Many car insurances is the same, Just part of the payment.
Very true, it’s hurts worse when you get big insurance bills in the mail every 6mo like us farmers! Then have to sit down with agent and try to figure out how to lower it a little, which usually involves raising deductible or reducing coverage. When I got my big farm and house policy renewal a couple weeks ago, I was almost shocked though that it did not go up one penny for the next year! I didn’t know that was even possible, but it has went up enough over the past few years. |
