North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | I have one flat foot from a debilitating injury in 2011. After 3 surgeries, Dr suggested amputation and a prosthetic foot. 2 more surgeries got me walking again.
I buy insoles from ‘SOLE’ website and wear Spenco orthopedic shoes in the house. Walking barefoot is painful on anything but soft carpet or rug. Thick shower mat allows me to stand long enough to shower. Standing more than about 15 minutes will get painful damn quick. One trip around Lowe’s or Rural King is all I can do walking.
Project’s requiring standing or walking take three times longer to complete.
Stiff sole boots with this insole works for me.
