I paid for a multi focal IOL a few years ago. The halos are real, but not terrible. I’m not sure what I will do when I have to do the other eye someday. I’m hoping technology keeps improving them. I’m typing this without glasses, so I’m not disappointed. I will say, however, that there is a certain distance that is somewhat blurry. For instance, prices on a store shelf. I have to move closer than normal to read labels. But, my original eye is so blurry I can’t read at all. It’s great for long distance. The only glasses I wear are sunglasses.
