| I am sure it would.. It would be expensive, and take a while to do. However..... rebuilding that bridge is not cheap. And once you have the bridge built, you still have large ships going into the port of Baltimore. In that area, the Bay is relatively shallow, so I believe they are dredging on a regular basis. So, you have to factor in not only the cost of rebuilding the bridge, but also the operational cost of dredging...... Wouldn't we be better off if they take the time and do it right by starting to build a new port that can properly handle the larger ships? Sure makes sense to me. |
