There has been land elsewhere that cash flowed decades after that.
Even into the early 2000's farm land here could be bought for basically the same interest payment as what cash rent was. Borrowing 100%
Currently, you have to have about 70% down payment to get the interest payment close to what cash rent would be. And so far there's no sign of land prices falling.
Makes me think there isn't really any need for any govt money to be handed out to farmers at the current time.
