Soils test may not be useless, but one thing I know is the field that is always showing the best soils test results is always the field that I struggle the most to get good corn. High OM, nutients all in the ++ range...

If I do tissues testing, that shows another story.


Last week I checked my next year corn starter fertilization formula. Talked with my fertilizer salemen that is also a good friend. I wanted more zinc on the formula. He replied, are you sure your soils test are showing sufficient.

Replied, yest, but tissues testing telled me another story.
