Subject: RE: Agleader 6000

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
A little late now but I've seen where folks have fastened a tether of some type on their GPS units to prevent them from falling completely off and getting run over. This doesn't always prevent damage but might save some.

If it still works, I think I would try to place the less than ideal connection inside some type of plastic electrical box that could be double face taped on top of the cab. The box could help protect the connection and might last for quite a while.

The 6000 isn't the greatest GPS receiver so I wouldn't put a lot of money into repairing it but a cheap Redneck repair might be worth the effort.
